WOMEN'S GOLF ASSOCIATION OF PGA NATIONAL TEES UP TO HELP NEIGHBORS IN NEED

Clinics Can Help will benefit from a March 2nd in-kind collection of durable medical equipment

February 18 2021 - Clinics Can Help (CCH) is known for collecting gently-used durable medical equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, canes, shower chairs, bedside commodes, and much more for area families in need. In support of CCH’s efforts across Palm Beach County, The Women’s Golf Association (WGA) of PGA National is sponsoring a special collection drive for donated medical equipment beginning at noon on Tuesday, March 2nd.

CCH’s large box truck will be parked in the PGA National Resort and Spa Sports and Racquet Club lot from 12-4 p.m. to accept donations, and the community is encouraged to drop by with items. Other examples of much-needed equipment include hospital beds, air mattresses, bedside lifts, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators, continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) machines, and supplies for treating incontinence and providing wound care.

“We appreciate the energy, enthusiasm, and generosity that the members of the PGA National’s WGA members have for our work in the community,” says Clinics Can Help’s CEO and founder, Owen O’Neill. “We are going to be parked in an area near the Sports and Racquet Club that is easily accessed so community members from all around can also drop items to us.”

For nearly two decades, even more so in the past twelve months, the organization has been a constant for medical providers, frontline and essential workers and community members in need of gently used medical equipment and supplies to support quality of life, and PPE protection.
