Cardiac Surgeon Mariano Brizzio, MD, Joins Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital

July 30, 2020 (VERO BEACH): Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital welcomes board-certified cardiac surgeon Mariano Brizzio, MD. Dr. Brizzio earned his doctorate of medicine from Universidad de Buenos Aires and his doctorate of philosophy from Universidad del Salvador in Argentina. He completed residencies in general surgery and cardiac and vascular surgery at Complejo Medico Churruca-Visca and Instituto Sacre-Coeur, respectively. He completed a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at Cleveland Clinic.
 
Dr. Brizzio is now accepting new patients at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital’s Health & Wellness Center located at 3450 11th Court in Vero Beach. To schedule an appointment, call 772.563.4580. 
 
Prior to joining Indian River Hospital, Dr. Brizzio has served as an attending cardiac surgeon at The Valley-Columbia Heart Center in New Jersey and Clinical Assistant professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Icahn School of Medicine in New York.  He is an Associate Fellow in the American College of Cardiology and a member of The Society of Thoracic Surgeons, among other organizations.
