Broward Health North Broward Medical Center Salutes Lyn Clark for Her Visionary Marketing Campaigns

Four years ago, Clark envisioned setting a goal to complete the number of mammograms the NBMC radiology department does in a month in a week’s time to recognize October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In that moment, MAMMO-PALOOZA was born. The first year, NBMC set the goal of 250 mammograms. NBMC surpassed its goal by completing 350.
Now in its third year, MAMMO-PALOOZA has gone systemwide throughout Broward Health, and 2011 saw a goal of 1,300 mammograms.
Clark is also the creator of Seniors Got Talent, a talent show for those over 65, which premiered in July 2010. It was a competition to promote dancing, singing, playing an instrument and any other activities as a way to increase “brain fitness.”
“Lyn is one of the most-creative people I know,” said Pauline Grant, CEO of NBMC. “North Broward Medical Center is proud to have her as our marketing leader.”
